Owen is on the Move!

Owen is up on all fours trying to co-ordinate his hands and feet. He usually gets around by tiger crawling.

This weeks News

John and I went to an interview with Tarleas school teachers on Wednesday night. They had so many good things to say about Tarlea. Her school work has improved so much this term and she is such a helpful person to have in class. We were very impressed.
On Thursday Will had a school visit to his new class he will be starting next term. He stayed for recess and showed everyone his monkey bar skills. He can now make across the big yellow monkey bars all by himself – a huge accomplishment for a 5 year old.
Unfortunately there was an accident on the playground, but he was soon helped by nurse Tarlea who fixed him up with a band aid.
Friday was school assembly. Red 4 was in charge of conducting the assembly. Will, Claire, Owen and I went to watch. Tarlea received a certificate for "excellent work and a positive attitude".
At home this week Claire has been “reading “ Owen stories and keeping him happy by playing with him.
John is off to the USA for work in a few weeks. Hopefully he will get to catch up with a few friends as well.
Tomorrow is Wills last day of kindy. He is just busting to go to school he has such a thirst for knowledge. But for me it means another one of my babies is getting bigger. He assures me he will miss me (because he will be gone for a longer amount of time), but I am sure I will miss him most!

Family Day 5th April

On Saturday we all went to the Museum and looked at the animals. We were going to go to the Science Museum as well but its wasn’t open. We decided to go to the Migrant Museum. There were lots of different things to look at and touch. We even saw one of Mums trophies and her crown from the Miss Elizabeth Quest. We had lunch in town and went into the David Jones basement where we each chose a special cookie as a special treat.
After lunch we went to the “big slippery dip park”. Everyone had a turn on the slippery dip even Owen (with Mum), Dad went on with Claire, and Tarlea and Will went on by themselves.
It was a great day of family fun.
