Owen not just crawling now!

Owen has decided he wants to be up with the big kids and start walking early. He is always pulling himself up and just adores playing with his siblings. He is now almost 8 months old. And looks like he may be our fastest at learning to walk. He already sounds like he says Mum. I'm not 100% sure he can but John is pretty sure that he does it on purpose. Any way he is growing up too fast and is totally gorgeous!

Tarlea's Excursion to the wetlands

Tarlea had a school visit to the wetlands at Urrbrae school. John went with her and said they had fun.

Johns Work trip to the USA and Mexico

John will up date this soon. He got some great photos of three different temples he saw with friends on the little time he had off. (He went for work.)

Dad's Birthday

It was Dads birthday on the 28th of April. We went to the Buffalo resturant on the friday night. Then on Monday we took up a cake and went to the park. The kids didnt want to leave. Even after a solid hour of playing and the rain starting to come I still had to drag them into the car.

Alices Wonderland

In the school holidays we went to Carrick Hill for a production of "Alice's Wonderland". This was a special play for children.

During the play we walk a trail around some of the gardens to the Mad Hatters Tea Party, White Rabbits house, learnt the Lobster dance and more.

The kids even played croquet with the Queen using flamingos and hedgehogs. We a great time.

ANZAC Day

This year for ANZAC day I taught the children about Simpson and his donkey during war time. Together one man and a couple of donkeys rescued over 300 men.
The kids also made their own wreaths and coloured a picture to remember those who have helped and continue to help keep our country free.
Vashti is a corpral and a medic in the army. She marched in the ANZAC day parade. She has also served overseas and helped people in other countries. So the army isnt just there to protect us but helps with those who need help in our country and abroad.

Tarlea is now Seven!

Tarlea had her birthday during the school holidays. She got lots of fun presents. I made her a volcano cake, which was interesting. She had a great time.
